Acupuncture
Hello, I’m Tammy. I am a licensed acupuncturist and have just moved my practice to the Outer Banks. I was a resident here for many years and am so delighted to be able to move back and serve this community.
In 2016 I left my career as a Flight Attendant in order to pursue my dream of learning acupuncture. I completed the four year Master’s program at Jung Tao School of Classical Chines Medicine in Sugar Grove, NC in August of 2020. Shortly after I began working for Sillpoint Acupuncture in Greensboro, NC where I continue to see patients on a part time basis.
In my practice, I take the time to listen and understand a patient’s symptoms to best diagnose and treat disease. I believe each person is unique and strive to find the best way to treat each individual. I use the 12 primary and complement channels as well as the 8 extraordinary vessels for more complex or chronic diseases. I also use other therapies including moxibustion, cupping and gua sha.
My Journey to Healing
A personal pursuit of holistic wellness
Yin Wood Acupuncture was born from my deep-rooted passion for holistic health and a desire to offer a patient-centered approach to wellness. It's more than a practice; it's a culmination of my journey and dedication to bringing compassionate, comprehensive care to every individual I meet.
